RE: coyote KZ comments?

we are in to our 3rd season with ours. put the new bunk ends on myself not a big job. We tried to get KZ to cover them but no luck. I struck a good deal with the dealer and got some new ends. Other than maintenance items nothing major has gone wrong. Would I buy another one, don't know we have seen other floor plans and makes that we think are nicer but as of now we havent traded the coyote.

RE: tear in sceens on bed end

On our trailer I had several tears in the screens last summer. Some of them I stichted up with black thread others I stichted a piece of screen over the hole. It didnt look prety but it worked. Since then we have installed new bunk ends (for other reasons) so I hope that I don't have to patch screens for a while.

RE: Coyote Canvas Update

Hey MadFinn, about 2 hours for the first one, spent 1/2 hour trying to fit the corner from the bottem up and then had the brain wave to take the end up to the top and feed it from the middle down to the bottem works great, should have it down to 1 hour per end by the time I'm done.

RE: Introduction and Question

Hi Rick, we have a Coyote 22 with the 3 bunks, it works great for us, DS uses the side and the DD and younger DS use the back. its worked well for us for 2 years now. We are putting on the new bunk ends this spring but other than that it works great. We dont have a slide couch but last year in Algonquin Park we had 9 people in the unit durring a rain storm and we managed just fine. I agree with everyone else about buying your second trailer first. our first was a pup up that we spent 5 years in, loved it but love the Coyote more. Good luck

RE: LONGIVITY OF POP OUT TENT MATERIAL ON HYBRID TT'S

We are putting new ends on our 2004 coyote 22 this spring due to the corners ripping (see thread on bunk ends) Most people have had this problem KZ is aware and helps some people but not 2nd or 3rd time owners. Our screens seem to be shreading as well but I think that is from the UV of the sun. Our pop up we had before had new bunkends twice in 5 years due to problems with zippers and seams. It seems the older stuff works better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

RE: Coyote Canvas Update

I got a really good deal, $300.00 for all three, 2 are brand new and 1 was a take off from a new trailer, didnt match the others or something like that. I dont care if it doesnt match so long as it fits and keeps the outside out!!!! I might try to do one today its supposed to warm up this afternoon but the twins have their year end curling bonspiel today so DW and me might end up at the rink watching a few games. Will keep everyone informed as to how the install goes.

RE: Coyote Canvas Update

Got the new ends this week, out of pocket no help from KZ. Dealership parts person was awesome. She really helped out. Going to try to install the last weekend this month. Have set aside the whole weekend to dewinterize and do the bunk ends, bearings and afew other things. Looking forward to the season as Ontario parks has over $600 of our money in resseys so far.

RE: ?'s about carrying a Canoe

Congrats on the Kipiwa, we got ours this summer at the swift store. Its the gold fusion in blue and champange colour. We have the GM rack system (me thinks its thule with the GM name on it.) We have hauled our canoe and before that we hauled a Winisk (17.5ft) with no problems. I got the canoe brackets and they are worth the money like Shum said. Make sure you use the bow strap it takes alot of the Holy******out of watching the boat dance!!!! Try Paddling.net and see what they have in the accessory pages. Good luck and happy paddling.
